To Submit Photo's

Make sure that the photos are of publication quality. That means the photo is clear, shows people in an interesting activity, and doesn't have a houseplant in the background looking like it is sprouting from somebody's head.  Eliminate red-eye. Photos with red-eye will not be displayed on the web site. This is not usually a problem with outdoor pictures, but shows up with indoor shots in a dark environment when a flash is used.  Describe what was going on, where and when it happened. It should make sense to someone in Slovenia or Argentina who reads it. The description should be ready to publish by copying and pasting the information.  Include the names of the people in the photo and make sure they are OK with posting the picture on the website.  Send all photos for an event in one email. If your email system won't let you do that, make sure the subject line for each email reflects the event they belong to.

Other Items

The article should be in final form, check the spelling and proofread before submitting.  If you are writing something in the Slovenian language, be sure to verify the spelling, especially with respect to the Slovenian characters: Č, Ž and Š. They are not the same as C, Z and S. If you don't know how to do this, see: http://www.sherek.com/Faq/#7 . Otherwise, you could use C^, Z^ and S^ to designate which letters they are and the webmaster will convert them when publishing the information.  IMPORTANT: If there are deadlines for posting the information, make that clear in the email.   Submit to the Webmaster
